Oh No! Many Killed as Boko Haram Gunmen Open Fire on a Convoy of Motorists in Borno

The highly dreaded Boko Haram sect has caused serious commotion in a Borno community after opening fire on a convoy. A new report by the Agence Presse Presse, AFP, has shown that as many as 20 people have been killed by Boko Haram on Monday. According to the report, witnesses revealed that many people were feared dead after the Boko Haram gunmen opened fire on a convoy of motorists travelling under military escort in northeast Nigeria. The exact toll from the ambush on the main road between Maiduguri to Damboa on Saturday was unclear, with numbers varying from two to as high as 15 and 24. Apostle Johnson Suleman, General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, has finally arrived the Abuja office of the Department of State Services, DSS. DSS had invited him for questioning over ‘inciting’ comments he made against Fulani herdsmen. An impeccable source told DAILY POST that Apostle Suleman arrived at the DSS office at about 8:00pm on Monday. “He is there now. Those who accompanied him include some Governors, Ministers. I cannot disclose names now. “But during the day, some leaders of CAN and PFN held series of meeting with Apostle. Ex-Governor’s aide shot dead

Unkown gunmen on Sunday night shot dead Ben Onyechere, the former Media Adviser to former Governor of Abia State, Chief Theodore Orji. A source told the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday in Owerri that Onyechere was kidnapped at about 8pm in Ikenegbu axis of Owerri where he had gone with his driver to do some shopping. The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said: “The gunmen, numbering five, trailed Onyechere to a popular supermarket in Ikenegbu and forced his driver out of his car before they sped off with Onyechere. “The following day, the lifeless body of Oncheyere was found a few streets away from Maris Junction, Ikenegbu, Owerri, after he was shot several times. The Department of Security Services [DSS] has failed to leave up to its threats of arresting the outspoken Apostle of the Omega Fire Ministries, Johnson Suleiman. This is as the fiery Apostle arrived at the headquarters of the DSS in Abuja on the evening of Monday following an invitation by the DSS to report to the office for question and/or interview. A few hours following the arrival of the Apostle, he was seen exiting the premises of the DSS on his way home. A man who just bought a new car, has allegedly taken his own life after driving lesson ended in disaster just after his wife's costly mistake. An administrator with the Roman Catholic-run in the Kana Mission hospital, Midlands area of Zimbabwe, identified as Delani Ngwenya, has reportedly committed suicide on Sunday 29th January, after a driving lesson with his wife went horribly wrong.
