Governor Babajide Sanwo- Olu orders disquisition into case of pupil allegedly transferred home from academy for having Peter Obi Sticker


 

Lagos State Governor, Bababjide Sanwo- Olu, has directed the State Ministry of Education to commence disquisition into the case of a pupil who was reportedly transferred out of academy for using the bill of the Labour Party presidential seeker, Peter Obi, to wrap books.



The incident was reported to have happed at Odomola Junior Secondary academy, Epe area of the state( read then).



In an exeat letter allegedly inked by the academy’s star a pupil named Barinada Marvellous was asked to go home from academy for belting her books with Peter Obi’s bill.



Replying, the Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, said the Lagos State Governor has approved the recall of the star, who'll be asked to explain the incident.



“ The Lagos State Government, the Ministry of Education and all its agencies will noway instruct any academy star, labor force or schoolteacher to act in such a manner, ” Adefisayo stated.



The manager, comforted the public that “ the matter would be dealt with within the compass of our strict regulations as the reason for transferring home the pupil is inferior – if true. “



Adefisayo, also stated that another academy star at Odonguyan who was caught on camera, as participated on social media, promoting her political choice to the scholars has been subordinated to applicable correctional measures.



“ The Ministry promotes and runs a public academy system devoid of politics and political imputations.



“ A thorough disquisition of the matter will be carried out and anyone set up reproachable will be subordinated to correctional measures as laid down in the civil service rules, ” Adefisayo stated
