A French court has handed captivity terms to two men for committing a burglary at the home of Paris Saint- Germain star Presnel Kimpembe last time.
The defendants, both 21, admitted their guilt but said they didn't know they were entering the home of the France protector and 2018 World Cup winner in November 2022.
They said they only managed to enter one room of the house before trying to flee when they saw a caretaker approach.

, through which they had entered the property, after failing to steal jewellery and clothes, they told the court.
Their act was motivated by “ plutocrat troubles ”, they added, saying a third man had linked the point of the tried burglary.
Kimpembe’s counsel Yasmina Belmokhtar said the act was “ a violation of sequestration ” and demanded a emblematic one euro($ 1) in damages.
The men will be suitable to have their captivity rulings of 10 and eight months independently reduced and serve them at home while wearing an electronic markers, the court said.
