Bobby Caldwell, who famously sang R&B successes including" What You Will not Do For Love" and" Open Your Eyes," has failed at the age of 71.
The American songster had been battling an illness for numerous times before he passed down. Caldwell failed in his sleep on Tuesday night, March 14, while at his hearthstone in New Jersey, his rep participated on Wednesday morning.

Bobby passed down then at home,' said Mary on Twitter.' I held him tight in my arms as he left us. I'm ever agonized.
The musician was known for his soulful and protean lyrics as he lit up the hit songs What You Will not Do for Love.
Mary also said,' Thanks to all of you for your numerous prayers over the times. He'd been' FLOXED,' it took his health over the last 6 times and 2 months. Rest with God, my Love.'
TMZ claimed that the songster had' not been suitable to walk for about five times as he fared with painful bouts of neuropathy and a ruptured tendon in his ankle.'
The New York native, whose full name was Robert Hunter Caldwell, started singing in the 1960s as a teen.
He released several compendiums gauging R&B, soul, jazz and adult contemporary.

Caldwell was born in New York in 1951 and was raised in Miami. According to his website, he grew up harkening to celebrated musicians including Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and The Beatles.
He began his career playing meter guitar for Little Richard before launching his solo career in the late 1970s.
