Peter Okoye, aka Mr P, the popular Nigerian songster who's also one half of P- Forecourt music brace, has spoken about Wizkid.
He revealed the part he played in Grammy- award- winning megastar, Wizkid’s days of little morning.
He said he'd high expedients for Wizkid during his early days as an over- and- coming artist when he was inked to Banky W’s EME Records.
Mr P appeared on the rearmost occasion of The 77 Podcast alongside his mate, Paul.
He recalled how he dived some journalists from snubbing Wizkid when the ‘ Ojuelegba ’ chorister came to perform at one of their musicales as an opening artist times agone

He said he told the journalists that Wizkid was going to dominate the music assiduity in the near future.
Mr P said, “ We( P- Forecourt) were noway the type of artist that looked down onanybody.However, there was a videotape that went viral where it was P- Forecourt musicale and Wizkid was opening for us, If you flash back . So, they( journalists) kept on canvassing only P- Forecourt and we were like, okay, guys, hold on. What about him? They said I said no, this joe is going to take over hereafter. ”
Wizkid is presently the most streamed African artist on Spotify, with over four billion aqueducts. His song ‘ Essence ’, which featured Tems, is the longest- charting Nigerian song on the US Billboard Hot 100.
