POLITICS: I’ll Run Kogi With Fear Of God Dino Melaye Says


 

Dino Melaye, seeker of the Peoples Democratic Party( PDP) in the November 11 Kogi guardianship bean, says he'd run an inclusive government if tagged into office.


In a statement released on Saturday by Melaye’s media platoon, the PDP seeker spoke during a visit to the palace of Abdulrazaq Isa Koto, Ohimege Igu of Koton Karfi.

The former assemblyman representing Kogi West said he'd run the state with “ fear of God ” if tagged.

Melaye added that he'd be “ a governor for all ” anyhow of ethnical group.

“ As you're apprehensive, His Royal Majesty, in the space of 4 times as assemblyman of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I did 19 systems in your Kogi LGA. I've a veritably special relationship with Kogi and by the grace of God, when tagged as governor, I'll concentrate attention on the requirements of our people, particularly the ecological challenges in this area, ” the PDP seeker said.

“ We aren't ignorant that the major business in this area is husbandry, trading and transportation. We shall make these gambles the focus of our administration by furnishing impulses that will encourage our people.

“ I'll be a Kogi governor that will govern our state with the fear of God. I'll run an each- inclusive governance not as an Igala, Ebira, Okun, Kakanda, Bassa, Koto or Nupe governor but as a governor for all under the guidance of the Almighty God.

“ I compliment you as the leader of the Kogi west traditional autocrats and I supplicate that under your leadership, Kogi West will produce a governor. I, thus, seek your blessings as we go into the pates. ”

On April 16, Melaye won the PDP primary for the Kogi gubernatorial election, defeating Idoko Ilonah, his closest rival, by 189 votes.

He'll face Ahmed Ododo, seeker of the All Progressive Congress( APC), in the guardianship election listed to take place on November 11.
