Popular songster, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk aka Iyanya, has given an explanation why he took a lady out on a date indeed after her alleged swain did n’t authorize of it.
Recall that Iyanya met the lady at Davido’s ‘ timeless’ musicale.
Despite pitfalls he went ahead to take to take the lady out on a date.
Taking to his Twitter handle on Tuesday, Iyanya explained that he only took the lady, linked as Florence on a date to help her overcome her depression.
He said after noticing her gesture at him during his performance at Davido’s musicale, he blazoned on social media that he'd like to meet her and also assigned his platoon to find her.
The Kukere chorister said when she reached out, his platoon set up out during their discussion that she has been depressed and only came for Davido’s musicale as a way to make herself happy.
He said his platoon made arrangements and brought her to Lagos to help her overcome her depression.
Iyanya wrote, “ When Florence arrived in Lagos on Saturday I wasn't in Lagos, I had events in Calabar and PH independently. When I came back Monday autumn. I headed to Sliver Jetty and spent the autumn with Florence on a boat voyage. She’s amazing guys. She has dreams of getting an influencer.
“ To help Florence in getting an influencer, I got her a brand new iPhone to make this easier and produce good content.
Watch out for Florence, she’s going to do great effects. ”
He added that he only met Florence for the first time on the boat and his platoon dropped her off at her hostel, stressing that he did n’t bring her to Lagos for “ any other docket but to make sure she was happy after all she’s been through. ”
