  Former Big Brother Naija “Level Up” housemate, Chichi, has opened up about her failed relationship with fake housemate, Deji Morafa.  During the reunion show on Wednesday, Chichi went into detail about all the ill treatments he subjected her to, which ultimately led to their split. According to Chichi, throughout their time together, Deji would assure her of his love but presented a different narrative to the public. She claimed Deji exploited her childhood experiences to make her believe that she was the one at fault each time they had an argument, causing her to question her own sanity and even consider seeking therapy. Chichi also mentioned how Deji would dismiss her concerns whenever she voiced them, claiming that she was overthinking things. Nigerian singer/songwriter, Simi has reacted after she was accused of speaking with a an imitative American accent.

 

The singer in a video message she recently shared on her social media page, insisted that she doesn’t fake her accent.

The ‘Duduke’ crooner added that she speaks flawlessly.

She said, “Let me tell you something that gets on my nerves; when some motherf*ckers come on here saying I’m forming ascent. Do I really seem like the kind of person that will care about how anybody feels about how I talk? like I sit down and I plan, this is how we are going to use this ascent today? I don’t give a f*ck. Do I sound like I’m struggling when I’m talking?”

Simi added that the insinuations are funny to her, urging those who don’t like her accent to stay away from her social media pages.
