Nigerian hipsterism- hop artist, Zlatan Ibile has opened up about his history and how he plodded before making it in music.
He revealed that he used the auto he won from a music competition as a hack.
He made the disclosure in a recent converse with media personality, Samuel Eni.
He said he'd to use the auto as a hack because he could n’t ante his bills or maintain the auto.
The Zanku chorister said after winning the auto, it took him another four years to achieve career success after he was supported by Olamide and Davido.
Zlatan reported “ I qualified among the two to go represent my academy in the grand homestretch (of a music competition).
So, like tactically out of 140 campaigners. With just two tracks, I just started rapping. I know nothing about music. I just started writing and downloading beats online.
And out of 140 people, I do n’t know how God did it, I won a brand new auto when I was 19 yeras old. My first semester in academy.
“ From there, I just sat down and said to myself, if I can win a brand new auto, seems God is telling me commodity. I took it seriously from there.
“ After that, it took me another four times after I won the auto. I ended up using the auto as (a) hack because I couldn't maintain the auto or maintain the life. Before, Olamide saw me one day and hit me up on Instagram. He called me up and made a song for me, for free, (and also) came for the videotape shoot for free. To me, that was like my advance song in 2017.
“ Davido saw the song (Body), and danced to it; the videotape was his first one million views on Instagram. And, he called me to come to his house.
He made (a) song for me. I told him I do n’t have plutocrat for (the) videotape. He gave me plutocrat for the videotape. After also, I made Zanku, and since also it has been blessings upon blessings. ”
