Nollywood actress cum politician, Tonto Dikeh has taken to Instagram to celebrate her coworker, Funke Akindele for being bold enough to be a deputy- guardianship seeker in Lagos State during the lately concluded pates.
A many days before the choices, Tonto Dikeh and her star, Tonte Ibraye stepped down from running for the guardianship and deputy guardianship position to join APC.
Tonto Dikeh has taken to her runner to express her gratefulness to all who supported her political career and also campaigned for her; adding that she isn't giving up. She further eulogized Funke Akindele pushing her way through irrespective of the political structures that favour men substantially.
She wrote; “ Dear fellow citizens,
The 2023 General Election has been an inconceivable trip, filled with both triumphs and bummers. But as I reflect on the experience, I'm thankful for the occasion to have been a part of it all, especially for being considered the Deputy Governorship seeker under the prestigious platform of Africa Democratic Congress( ADC) with his Excellency,Hon.@tonteibraye I don't take this for granted.
I want to express my deepest appreciation to everyone who supported me throughout this crusade. First to Almighty God for granting me the grace, alternate to my family, I'm obliged for their unvarying love and support, thirdly To the good people of Rivers State, I'm lowered by your belief in me, and I promise to continue fighting for you in any way that I can.
I also want to extend my gratefulness to the entire functionary, members, and levies of our great association,@cymsnigeria. Led by the Director General, Chief Obinna Nwaka, I'm thankful for your understanding, support, and presence all through this struggle.

As a woman, I know firsthand how delicate it can be to share in politics. But I prompt my fellow women not to be discouraged. rather, let us support each other, anyhow of political cooperation. Also, I know I may have offended some people during this course, hence I ask for remission.
As the 2023 Election concludes with a recently tagged leader, I want to prompt everyone to insure we prioritize the peace and substance of our darling Rivers State over our feelings. for the concinnity and development of our country Nigeria. because only together, we can make a difference.
