The Nigerian office of the West African Examinations Council( WAEC) has blazoned that it'll no longer use homemade evidence or stamping of instruments of campaigners who sat the West African Senior School Certificate Examination( WASSCE) from 1999 till date.
This is coming after the launch of the examination body’s Digital Certificate Platform.
Members of the public and stakeholders have been asked to use the digital instrument platform to ease the backups associated with the homemade access and evidence system.
The council’s amusement Head of Public Affairs, Moyosola Adesina said in a statement;
“ The WAEC Digital Certificate Platform allows campaigners to pierce, download, and partake their original WAEC instruments. Institutions and organisations can also instantly and securely confirm the instruments of campaigners.
“ Note that instruments penetrated and participated through the platform are authentic and sourced directly from the WAEC database.
“ We kindly request that institutions, organisations, agencies, delegacies, high commissions, among others, give dispatch addresses for the digital sharing, entering, and verification of instruments. ”
