Nigeria Singer 9ice Reveals How He Was Popular But Didn’t Have Money

Alexander Adegbola Akande, the popular Nigerian songster, who's better known as 9ice, has made a new disclosure.

He revealed that when he started his music career he was notorious but broke.

The ‘ Gongo Aso ’ chorister bared this in the rearmost occasion of Chart with Sims podcast.

He said, “ Do n’t come popular o, make plutocrat. When I started, I was popular but I did n’t have plutocrat. ”

He added that plutocrat eventually started coming after he put in workshop.

9ice said, “ The plutocrat did n’t just come by, I had to do the right thing. As at also we were depending so much on Alaba International Market. also we did n’t have Facebook, Instagram and therest. However, you have to go to Kaduna to do a radio interview, If you want your song to be popular in Kaduna. You have to be there for people to see you. ”

So, when the plutocrat started coming was when we put in the hustle and we retailed the brand by doing print interviews like journals, magazines; putting your face out there. I mean, there are occasionally people have good songs and they( suckers) do n’t indeed know what you look like.

“ I suppose it isn't just about getting popular. But putting your brand out there. request it, promote it. Let your face be known and the plutocrat aspect will come latterly, ” he added
