UPDATE: Drama As Police Arrest APGA Factional Chairman In Court Premises


 

 

Mild drama took over the Federal Capital Territory( FCT) High Court in Bwari, Abuja, on Monday.


There was mild drama at the court demesne on Monday, as the factional president, All Progressives Grand Alliance( APGA), Edozie Njoku, was arrested by the Nigeria police.

The arrest followed a complaint by the executing counsel, CSP Ezekiel Rinamsomte, that Njoku, previous to the inception of the felonious case filed against him, had verbally hovered him as counsel in the matter.

He told Justice Mohammed Madugu shortly before the case was suspended.

He said a complaint had formerly been lodged at the Bwari Divisional Police Station.

“ My lord, this morning when I came to the court, he( Njoku) saw me, gestured his hand at me and said prosecutor how are you and we shook hands.

“ I didn't indeed fete him because there's nothing particular between him andI.

“ The coming thing this man started telling me was that he was going to shoot disaster upon disasters upon my family; that members of my family will be dying and that he'd deal with me.

“ I asked him what I've done, he said he was a veritably dangerous man. He said he was the reason why the Director of Action of the Supreme Court, Mr Dikko, was removed and dismissed.

“ That he was going to shake the Nigeria Police Force; that he was the reason why the son of( Onyechi) Ikpeazu, SAN, failed; that he was going to deal with everybody in this case.

“ And I said does it mean that this man is above the law or what's the problem, ” the counsel said
