  Former Big Brother Naija “Level Up” housemate, Chichi, has opened up about her failed relationship with fake housemate, Deji Morafa.  During the reunion show on Wednesday, Chichi went into detail about all the ill treatments he subjected her to, which ultimately led to their split. According to Chichi, throughout their time together, Deji would assure her of his love but presented a different narrative to the public. She claimed Deji exploited her childhood experiences to make her believe that she was the one at fault each time they had an argument, causing her to question her own sanity and even consider seeking therapy. Chichi also mentioned how Deji would dismiss her concerns whenever she voiced them, claiming that she was overthinking things. Superstar singer, Davido, has stated that he and Wizkid were the first young Nigerian artists to make it big in the music industry.

He said he was excited to see “new cats” (stars) such as Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Mayorkun and Asake now dominating the music industry.

The 30 Billion Gang crooner stated this in an interview that went viral on social media on Thursday.

He said, “Wizkid and I were the first young artists to blow up and it feels good seeing new cats like Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Mayorkun, you know a lot of new cats coming, killing it…Asake who was on my album.

“So, yes, I think the future of Afrobeat is in good hands.”

Meanwhile, his statement has sparked controversy on social media with many Burna Boy’s fans berating him for putting the Grammy award-winning singer in the same group with newbies.
