Divine Ikubor, the Nigerian songster, who's popularly known as Rema has continued making history.
The songster replied after making history with the remix of his encyclopedically accredited smash hit song, ‘ Calm Down ’ which featured American songster, Selena Gomez.
He recorded a literal corner with the song as it came the loftiest- charting African song on Billboard Hot 100, breaking Wizkid’s record.
Wizkid, formerly held the record for the highest- charting Nigerian song on the Billboard Hot 100 after his smash tune ‘ Essence, ’ which featured Tems and Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, peaked atNo. 9 on the map.
In the rearmost development, the sanctioned billboard map Twitter account blazoned that the 22- time-old Jonzing/ Mavin Records signee had broken Wizzy’s record in a map for March 25th, 2023.
Rema’s “ Calm Down ”,ft. Selena Gomez, peaked at theNo. 8 position, making it the loftiest- charting Nigerian song on the Billboard Hot 100 map so far.
Replying to the colossal feat which threw him into an emotional state, Rema stressed how hard he worked to get to this point while expressing gratefulness to God and love to those who ’ve always believed in him as well as to Gomez.
