David Adeleke, the notorious Nigerian Afrobeat megastar, also known as Davido, has opened up about his relationship with his coworker, Burna Boy.
He explained that their relationship is fragile and not as strong as it used to be
He said they were on good terms but they “ do n’t really talk important ” to each other.
Davido lately featured on Ebro in the Morning Show on Hot 97FM, New York, USA.
Speaking on concinnity among Afrobeats artists, the Omo Baba Olowo chorister said, “ Afrobeats( artists) we're in concinnity. I spoke to Burna( Boy). He called me. He calls me as well but we ’ve not really spoken like that.
Asked whether he plans to resolve his issues with Burna Boy, Davido said, “ I suppose I surely would. He( Burna Boy) called me. intellect( sprat) called me. And funny enough, me and Burna used to be frenetic close. veritably veritably close. ”
Recall that the relationship between Davido and Burna Boy went sour in 2020, which redounded in a series of dissensions between the two.
The brace reportedly disaccorded and changed blows in a Ghanaian club.
Speaking of the incident, Davido said, “ Funny enough, it was n’t indeed us. It was our people( platoon). It was crazy because it did n’t indeed involve us. ”
