Nollywood Actress Bimbo Akintola Says The Movie Industry Is Not Responsible For The Decadence In Society

She said that the movie assiduity only reflects vices in society, rather than produce them.

Speaking with Saturday Beats, she said, “ It isn't true that pictures are responsible for the degeneration in society. Yes, the assiduity educates on what's going on in society; but, are you telling me that Nigerians do n’t raise their children at home presently? I flash back my parenting; and I know what was real and what was not. What's passing in society these days is that maters are so busy. With being realities, both parents have to make plutocrat to keep their children on a certain position of influx

Now, children are virtually been raised by nothing. My mama raised us. She had a big shop which she generally closed at the same time with our seminaries. She was a millionaire, but she'd always go home to be with us. But, parents can not go to do that presently. Back also, a lot of maters stayed at home, but maters can not go that presently. The assiduity isn't what's affecting society. Rather, it's reflecting the problems in society. ”

Akintola also stated that she had huge prospects from the incoming administration of Bola Tinubu.

She said, “ The Lagos State government has given subventions to actors and directors. I was part of the Presidential Campaign Committee. Asiwaju involved actors and musicians in the commission. His woman is also a huge addict of the trades. She was indeed telling us( actors) about all the flicks she had seen us in. I do n’t have anything against any other person( seeker), but I would rather go with someone whose track record I know

“ I want to know that the person has worked ahead and will work again. I believe that in the coming division, numerous effects will be different in the assiduity. Tinubu works with people who he knows are intelligent, intellectual and are players. He has a think tank around him. He noway works alone, and the problems of Nigeria can not be handled by one person. ”
