Julius Agwu, the popular Nigrian funnyman, has explained that there's further to the beef between his associates AY Makun and Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth.
He said there us further to the beef than the N30,000 story being hawked around.
Recall that AY Makun granted an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, where he stated that he and Basketmouth haven't been on talking terms over a certain N 30,000 he asked for as his payment when he went to perform on Basketmouth’s behalf eventually back.
In a recent interview with Naija Info FM, Julius Agwu stated that it appears there’s further to the story.
‘’ I do n’t suppose it’s just the N30, 000. perhaps there's further. Na we dey back stage. We nor go fit know. perhaps there's commodity differently that's making them angry and they've both carried in their minds that's causing them quarell ”
He went on to recall how AY cut the call on him when he noticed the funnyman was planning a show on the same day he typically anchors his comedy show.
‘’ Laugh for Christ sake was every Easter Sunday before AY began to do promo saying he was doing one show. I called AY telling him that day is my day, he cut the call on my neck. ‘’
